Acupuncture for Pain and Injuries:
Perception of Pain: Acupuncture can quickly ease pain from whiplash, muscle strains, and soft-tissue injuries. Needling literally changes the perception of pain and dampens pain signals to the brain.
Faster healing: It boosts blood flow, lowers inflammation, and helps in tissue repair.
Inflammation: Acupuncture reduces inflammatory chemicals that worsen pain and limit movement.
Nervous system regulation: Acupuncture calms the nervous system to help deal with stress, anxiety, and the emotional impact after a crash.
Natural Pain killers: Needling stimulates sensory nerves in the muscle and skin, which triggers the release of endogenous opioids (endorphins, enkephalins) in the spinal cord and brain
Holistic care: Using acupuncture in combination with physiotherapy, massage, osteo and chiro gives a more complete recovery plan.
