This is a time-tested practice that‘s been used for over 3,000 years to support people through pain, stress and a wide range of other health conditions. The needles are hair-thin, sterile, and single use - most people barely feel them and some find the experience so calming they fall asleep mid-treatment.

At Rooted Rose, we offer both private treatments and community or group-based acupuncture sessions.
Community acupuncture is given in an open concept space with others resting in the vicinity. These treatments are are on a sliding scale payment system — $45-75 for an initial treatment, and $35-65 for return patients.
Whether you’d prefer one-one-one support, or enjoy the quiet rhythm of our group-based treatments, every session is tailored to your unique needs.
Please Note: Masking is still required for community acupuncture. We have extras, if needed. Community treatments are given while patients are fully clothed so please wear clothing that can be rolled up above your knees and elbows.

Book anytime through our online booking. Once you’ve scheduled your first session, you’ll receive a secure intake form to fill out before your appointment via your account and confirmation email.

We offer direct billing for most major insurance providers like Blue Cross, Sun Life, and Green Shield, etc. If applicable, add your insurance information when submitting the online intake form. Payment is due at the end of treatment. Debit and cash are preferred. We do not keep cash on-site, so please bring exact change if paying with cash.

As a general rule:
Acute issues: requires 3–6 sessions, often weekly or twice weekly
Chronic conditions: requires 6 or more sessions.
Maintenance or preventive: Once or twice a month.
Usually one acupuncture treatment will not solve an issue but will likely provide temporary relief. A series of treatments is where real, lasting transformation can happen. Consistency builds momentum — spacing out your sessions too far apart often stalls progress. If you can commit to a few treatments in closer proximity, that generally provides better results.
